Eric started as a software engineer, both frontend and backend, for about 10 years and landed in the SQL technical support field over the last 9 years, specialising in Hive, Impala, and now Snowflake. At Snowflake, his duties include helping support engineers troubleshoot complicated SQL performance issues, overseeing the APAC and global technical support team, developing tools and processes to improve the efficiencies of the support operations, as well as enhancing stronger relationships between the support team with the Snowflake internal teams and external customers.
